In 1976 he left Johns Manville to become part of the management team of a Bay Area Building Materials distributor who was expanding into the Kitchen business. He was later transferred to Northern California in 1973 to be a regional sales representative for the Residential Building Products Division. ![]() Upon graduation, he joined the Johns-Manville Corporation to work in marketing and sales. He attended Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, graduating in with a BBA in Finance and MBA in Marketing.
